WWE Stack Down Universe Series 1 Blind Bag Part 2
I went back and picked up another 2 of the blind bag Stack Down figures seeing as I enjoyed the first 3 so much. Something I also noticed when buying them, there are codes on the back so you can avoid doubles! I didn't take a note of who came out of each number so far though - sorry.
Anyhow, my first bag gave me
Sheamus! The great white ginger!
And second up
Randy Orton!!
Not too fussed about getting Sheamus but I'm pretty happy to have Orton added to the collection!
The articulation is the same across all of them, the head's on a ball joint so it rotates and pivots, the shoulders are on a ball joint and there's a single joint in the elbow. There's waist swivel, hips are on ball joint and the knees have a single bend. There are also small holes over the bodies so that the Superstars can be posed fighting.
I really like these figures, I'm pretty sure I'll be picking up more of these in the future. And I really want The Rock.
RKO outta nowhere!!

Halo Mega Bloks Series 4 Blind Bag
I thought I'd go look on eBay and have a little look for blind bag Halo Mega Blok packs to bolster my collection. I'd never picked up any of the earlier series of these blind bags so when I saw I could get 3 bags for £10, I thought that was quite a good deal. And this series had some nice figures including:
Cortana
Purple UNSC EVA Spartan
Yellow UNSC ODST
Arctic UNSC Pilot
Blue Covenant Elite
Copper Covenant Brute
Green UNSC Marine
Crimson Elite Pilot
Any 3 of these would be great to add to my tiny army. Firstly out the bag
The green UNSC marine. Good start, a cool looking character. Second up
Oh. OK, bit of a pain. But onto number 3!
Goddammit.
I guess I'm in the army building game now... Go Figure!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo vs Rocksteady
We're looking at the second set of the "versus" series from Playmates that gave us Bebop and now, Rocksteady. There is a third set that I've not picked up yet featuring a variant Shredder and Raphael.
Let's take a look at Mikey first. He, of course, comes with his nunchucks. And these are in a nice kind of wood brown colour. I'd still like the chains to be silver, or grey, but these do look better than the bright orange chucks we've got in the past.
Michelangelo himself is in some kind of biker jacket and gloves and unlike Leonardo, Mikey gets a little colour variation. But only a little.
He gets orange elbow and knee pads, orange bandana of course, black gloves and foot wraps, and a little silver detailing on the zip of the jacket.
I like this look on Mikey though, it's quite fun so pretty fitting for the character. He holds his chucks well and there's storage on his shell for them too.
Articulation on Michelangelo is ok. His head is on a ball joint so it swivels and tilts a little, shoulders are on a hinge and swivel as are the elbows. Hips swivel and move forward and back and his knees have a single bend.
Rocksteady is, I assume, a Russian(?) as his weapons are a very cool gold hammer and sickle.
Articulation is limited on Rocksteady, but for me, he makes up for it with how cool he looks.
Rocksteady's head turns side to side his shoulders rotate, he has wrist swivel, waist swivel and his legs move forward and back.
The paint apps are pretty nice on Rocksteady. He's mostly grey, but he has a white horn, white teeth (but one pimp gold tooth!), gold shoulder pads, gold vest, a separate brown rubbery belt/bandolier that's removable, and very cool camouflage trousers. The shoulder pads and camo pants are kind of throwbacks to the original figure which is cool.
I love the sculpt on this new Rocksteady, though the feet are a bit of a pain to get him stand on, and his massive hands make it a bit difficult to hold his weapons. You can get them in there though, and there's even a little indicator of what weapon goes where.
I don't know why Leo and Mikey need to get in their leathers to fight Bebop and Rocksteady, but I'm super happy to see these guys return to the show.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo vs Bebop
I recently made a discovery! That Asda (the UK arm of Walmart) were selling these new "versus" packs. I think, unbelievably, that these sets are only available in the UK and are Asda exclusives. I can't say for sure, but I've not seen them anywhere else. And also, this part is very exciting, this is the first time seeing Bebop in the new line from Playmates!
Firstly let's take a look at Leo.
He comes with 2 new weapons, blades as expected, but this time they're more like Bowie knifes rather than his usual katana blades.
Leo himself comes in tactical gear which is nicely sculpted, but is entirely black which is a bit of a shame.
It's a pretty cool look though, he looks like some kind of stealth mission Leo.
There's storage on his shell for his blades also which is good.
Articulation is what we expect from the new TMNT turtles, head is on a ball joint so it swivels and tilts a little, shoulders are on a hinge but due to the shoulder pads they don't lift up all the way and the elbows are on a hinge and swivel. There's no wrist or waist articulation, legs move forward and back and rotate but don't move out, and the knees have a single bend, no ankle articulation.
Onto Bebop!
The only weapons Bebop comes with are 2 small grenades.
He holds these ok, but I'd rather he came with some better weaponry and accessories.
Bebop looks pretty great though, again, a very small amount of paint detail on this guy.
Articulation on Bebop is minimal too. His head rotates, arms move round and swivel out, no elbow or wrist articulation. Waist swivel though! Hips move out and swivel and there's a knee bend. That's it sadly. Unless you count the wheels on his back, which gives him a kind of slide play feature.
I really do like the look of this figure though, the sculpt is really cool and he's much more streamlined compared to the original Bebop. And there are nice touches back to the original in this figure, such as the Mohawk and super cool stream lined shades.
I'll still probably pick up the regular Bebop when it's released here, as I really want a purple mohawked Bebop!!

Marvel Legends Infinite Series Wolverine Build a Figure Jubilee Wave
Do you know how hard it is to find a Marvel Legends Wolverine figure? Of course you do, you're smart. But this is the newest one, so it's a little easier to find and much more reasonable in price. I really want a classic brown costume Logan, but that will have to wait. For now I have this really nice unmasked Wolverine to keep me going!
I like this figure a lot, though I do have a few minor gripes about it, though the negatives are out weighed by the positives.
So I'll go ahead and get my issues out of the way first.
The X on his chest is nearly transparent, you can see the paint difference behind it. There are some minor paint splotches on the torso and legs. And the hinges in the hips are blue, so they stand out against the yellow legs. And he's too tall.
But like I said, the good out weighs the bad:
Great sculpt in the head, gloves, boots, mask
The mask hanging down on his back looks very cool
Nice gold belt with X logo on it
The claws look amazing
Really nice interpretation of the blue and yellow tiger costume
Hairy arms!
The yellow on the suit has a nice orange wash on it making it really pop and show those sculpted details and it makes it a little less bright than other times we've seen the old Canucklehead.
Wolverine's articulation is pretty solid. His head is on a ball and hinge, as are his shoulder, double jointed elbows (that you can't really take full advantage of because of those guns), and wrist swivel. He has an ab crunch, waist swivel, hips are on a hinge, he has a thigh cut, double jointed knees, boot cut and ankle pivot and swivel.
And although I think he's too tall, he is pretty cool when facing off against my Marvel Select Ultimate Hulk.
I'd recommend this guy if you're looking to pick up a Wolverine, and I'm super glad to add him to my collection!
