Star Wars Black Series Sandtrooper

Time for another Black Series figure methinks! This time having a look at one of my favourite figures in the series, the sandtrooper.

This figure looks so good, the sculpt is awesome (stormtroopers are classics!) but it's the paint that really makes this figure pop.

The dirty, sand and worn look of the trooper just looks so real and good! The trooper also comes with his rifle, blaster, bazooka type weapon and backpack (which, if I'm not mistaken, was used by sandtroopers on hot planets like Tatooine to keep them ventilated and in a constant water supply). Sadly wearing the backpack makes the sandtrooper too top heavy, though you can get him balanced long enough for any shots.

The articulation at the head is hindered a little by the orange shoulder pauldron, but apart from that the articulation is good, with shoulder, elbow and wrist joints, a diaphragm crunch, hip, knee and ankle joints.
