Nintendo Amiibo Toad Super Mario Classic Collection

This is one of the more simple Amiibo that has been released in terms of paint and sculpt that we've looked at so far, but he's so cute!

This is a great little representation of Toad from the Super Mario games. He's a cheery looking fellow with nice clean paint apps and good sculpt work.

There's really not a lot to say about Toad other than he looks great! I prefer his Super Mario grey checker board base to the gold Super Smash Bros base too, so that's a bonus!

Super Mario K'Nex Series 4 Blind Bags

My local Forbidden Planet has these in stock, and you know what? Every one of them is a Bob-omb. You can feel the massive round body. But as I was shopping the other day I found 2 bags in amongst a bunch of the new Thomas the Tank Engine blind bags, so I bought them up!

I really like the little K'Nex Mario figs, especially for the enemies, I have that Bob-omb I was talking about in my videogame display. I felt both bags and made sure I was getting different figures, and this is who I got.

Firstly

Green Toad! He's a neat little figure. His arms are articulates as is his massive head.

Second up I got a character I really dig the design of

Bowser Jr! This little fig has head rotation, his arms and legs are articulated and he even has wrist swivel.

Both of these figures are easy little builds and both look really cool so I'm glad I picked them up. If I ever see more I'd no doubt add more to my collection.

Nintendo Amiibo No 2 Peach Super Smash Brothers Collection

Following Bowser, we're taking a look at the Peach Amiibo. This Amiibo is in the Super Smash Bros collection so is stood on the gold base, just like the Bowser Amiibo.

As is with all the Amiibo, there's no articulation in these figurines, but the paint and sculpt really make up for that.

There are at least 3 different pinks used here - a flat baby pink, a dark pink and a metallic pink. The sculpted details around the white skirt are very nicely done, and the gold filigree work above and below the sculpted details are incredibly neatly applied.

All of the ruffles and folds in Peach's dress are all moulded and add some great depth to this figurine.

I'm really impressed with these figures and Peach is no exception. The gold of her crown and the blue of her earrings are all clean and sharp and add such videogame accurate detail.

If you own a Wii U and have compatible games these are fun additions to those games, but really, if you're just a Nintendo fan these could be worth picking up just to own them as Smash trophies!
