Star Wars Black Series No 4 First Order Stormtrooper The Force Awakens Hasbro 6" Figure
The last figure I'll be looking at in this new wave of Black Series figures. It's number 4, and it's a cracking figure! Today we're checking out the new First Order Stormtrooper, and here's the read up
Again, this figure comes in the sleek new black and red packaging which I really like.
The Stormtrooper comes with two weapons, the first being a small blaster reminiscent of the small pistol that comes with the Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper set
The second weapon is a more typical looking blaster rifle that we'd see with the Stormtrooper
Both of these seem to have been cast in white plastic then painted black with silver highlights. These look great, really great detail and the black and white looks amazing together on a weapon.
The figure itself I love. I think I might actually prefer this figure to the Clone Trooper and Stormtrooper figures we already have. The armour and design looks great and it's been translated incredibly well into plastic.
The helmet looks great and I love that new design! The belt and grenade canister have also been well sculpted and detailed.
I love this sleek new armour with the slightly flatter chest piece. There are nice smaller parts on the armour that are nice to find as you look over it. The forearm detail, extra detail on the top of the helmet and the detail on his lower legs to name but a few.
As for articulation, his head looks left and right easily but, mine anyway, doesn't really look up or down. The shoulders are on a ball and hinge joint which rotate the arm right round but the armour stops it moving up. There's a single elbow ben and the wrists rotate and hinge. There's an ab crunch which moves quite far back and forward a little and this also acts as the waist rotation.
The hips are on a ball joint which moves the legs back but the armour inhibits movement out and forward. There's a hip cut, double jointed knees and ankle rotation, hinge, and rocker pivot.
I really do think this is a fantastic figure and well worth the money. I would recommend this to any Star Wars fan, and I've already noticed that this is an incredibly popular seller if looking at the pegs in Forbidden Planet is anything to go by! Does this guy beat Kylo Ren as my favourite new Black Series figure? I'm not sure... I think at the moment I need to call it a draw!

Lego Star Wars Microfighters Series 2 Snowspeeder & Pilot Set 75074
Having already had a look at the AT-AT in this series it's time to take a look at the Snowspeeder & Pilot set.
The rest of the vehicles in this series are:
Homing Spider Droid
Vulture Droid
ARC-170 Starfighter & Clone Pilot
Republic Gunship
I won't be picking up any of these sets. I don't hate the prequels, but I am picky about what I'll pick up from them.
So this set is another of the Microfighters range so it's a small build that took me about 15 minutes to complete.
Let's take a look at the pilot first.
The detailing on the pilot is excellent. He has printed tubes, buttons, and buckles over his torso and legs and the mask and strap from the helmet are also printed straight onto the Minifigures face. The helmet has the Rebel insignia printed on it which is a nice touch and he has 2 faces - one happy (shown above) and one a bit more terrified!
The Snowspeeder is a great little interpretation of the ship from the movie but I do actually like the AT-AT more.
The ship also has 2 missiles underneath which kind of fire if pushed from behind.
The figure sits nicely in the Snowspeeder, looking like a kid on a fairground ride which I love the look of!
Again, I'd completely recommend these if you want to save cash and space and, for me, I love the minifigures so these are a double win for me.

Lego Star Wars Microfighters AT-AT Set 75075
The second series of Lego Star Wars Microfighters have been released and having picked up the original trilogy vehicles from the first series, how could I turn these down? This series, which takes the vehicles from Star Wars, and shrinks them down into an utterly adorable ride on vehicle. I have only picked up the two original trilogy vehicles in this wave - the AT-AT and the Snowspeeder - and in this review I'll be looking at the AT-AT.
This set, as with all of them, comes with a minifigure. The minifigure with this set, is unsurprisingly, an AT-AT pilot.
And underneath the helmet, the Imperial officer looks nice and angry!
As far as the AT-AT goes, it's an easy build that takes about 15 minutes and looks great when it's complete.
And to give you a bit of size perspective
These really are small, but they look great! And they don't take up nearly as much room (or as much of a bite out of your bank balance) as the full size versions.
There is a little articulation in the vehicle. The head moves up and down and the legs move back and forth as do the ankles.
If, like me, you don't have the money or space for the full size versions of the vehicles from Star Wars, these are for you!
