Marvel Legends Infinite Series Allfather Build a Figure Wave Hawkeye

Classic Hawkeye! Instantly I was a fan of this figure even in packaging: I was drawn to the purples and dark blues of the classic costume, and how it works so well on this figure.

Half of the packaging is taken up with the biggest piece of the Odin BAF - the torso and skirt tunic piece

Hawkeye comes with 2, very obvious, accessories.

His bow

Which is a fine enough sculpt, but I really wish, if Hasbro had to make it a solid colour, they could have made it black.

He of course also comes with his quiver filled with arrows

Thankfully the arrows have a little colour highlights on the feathers, but again, this is a solid purple sculpt with a peg to fit to Hawkeye's back.

Hawkeye is a good looking figure, but not without it's flaws.

Firstly, straight out of the box he has really loose hips which means my Hawkeye doesn't stand particularly well. Hawkeye also had some very stiff joints, a hair drier sorted this out and it had the added bonus of softening the plastic armour over Hawkeye's shoulders which means it sits much more neatly now. My final nit pick with this figure is that the quiver doesn't plug all that securely into the hole in the back.

Hawkeye uses the Winter Soldier's left arm to give it an armoured look but this time painted purple to match the rest of his suit. Clint also gets some seriously spiffy purple buccaneer boots (which I love the classic look of), his mask has darker purples in it, and his detachable soft plastic armour tunic has different purples again. The majority of Clint's body is sculpted in a dark blue purple colour which contrasts nicely to the purple.

The paint overall is really neat on the Hawkeye I picked up with good applications in his eyes especially. The colour choice for his flesh on his face is also really nice.

Hawkeye has the standard Marvel Legends articulation, with his head looking up and down, left and right, his shoulders have ball and hinge joints allowing them to swivel and rotate up and out, he has double jointed elbows and his wrists rotate and hinge up and down.

Barton has an ab crunch which is unfortunately a little hindered by the soft plastic goods, his hips, while being really loose, also swing outwards and forwards and back. There's a thigh cut, double jointed knees, boot cut and ankle pivot and hinges.

If you're building a classic Avengers team, you'd be crazy not to pick this guy up - despite the flaws he is a great looking figure on display. Also, whether you want to complete Odin or King Thor, you're going to need a torso for him.

Go Figure!
