Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Battle Shell Donatello

Donatello's up next for me to take a look at in the TMNT Battle Shell range.

And again, just like Leonardo, he comes in the same style packaging with the blister on the front showcasing the turtle inside, the small clear space on the back showing the shell compartment.

Of course, Donnie comes with his trusty bo staff that is in a solid wood brown colour, but is a really nice sculpt.

The smaller weapons that come with Donatello are again, 2 throwing stars, and a tri-split bo staff connected by a chain. These are also done in that solid brown colour, but the shuriken are especially cool looking!

Here are his extra weapons stored in his shell

Donatello holds all his weapons well, but I think he looks best with his bo staff. It's classic!

He also stores his bo staff nicely in the sheath on his shell

Donatello is a really nice colour, almost an olive green, with brown pads and a nice gold highlight on his belt. His bandana is a nice purple and is also a little different to Leonardo's bandana. His eyes are whited out which I think looks best for a figure this size.

The articulation on Donnie is good, with his head on a ball joint letting in move side to side and up and down. His shoulders are on a ball and hinge joint so that his arms can move up and down and swivel at the shoulder, his elbows have bend and swivel and his wrists also swivel. No waist articulation but he has hip joints and a knee bend that goes 90 degrees and swivels - this makes up for the lack of ankle swivel or pivot. This guy, just like Leonardo is an excellent looking figure, very cartoon accurate, and just really cool!

It's not his fault he's so gap toothed!

Go Figure!
